Meeting Coursemates at Ambala & Chandigarh on 31 Jan 2011

For my official purpose I made a visit to Ambala and Chandigarh. I was planning to meet some of our course mates and sought help pf Ian Kerr.

It was very thoughtful of Ian Kerr to mobilize all the course mates at DSOI, Chandimandir. I met many of them for first time after POP! We might have aged but spirit of the course mates is still the same. At Ambala I met Negi and Naithani. Jallo came along with one of his relative as he was coming from Ludhiyana and was proceeding home - therefore his stay was very short.

The world is fast growing and with it is growing the needs of the society. More and more industries are coming up and bringing increased numbers of vulnerabilities and threats to them. The employees themselves are sometimes threats to the industry and most of the time they are subjected to threats! The external pressures from competitors and internal goal-settings often bring in shortcuts in time, manpower and resources. There are sometimes sub-standard persons and processes and sometimes they are subverted. To foresee, forecast and suggest remedies - the Experts step in! This is the point where role of security professionals recedes and expert steps-in! I am Industrial Security Expert with impeccable credentials and proven track record. Known in the profession for bringing in professionalism, I am well known for my concepts and ideas which are not radical yet revolutionary in changing the whole aspects of security management in India.

SS - 33 / Tech 24 Reporting, Sir!

This Blog is an effort to unite the course mates belonging to SS-33 / Tech-24 batch passed-out on 13th March 1982. It has been decades that they met each other and there are reasonable doubts whether they will recognize their course-mates if they chance upon to bump in to each other!

This Blog is of those young men who toiled on the banks of river Adyar for the love of their country. They fought many battles as 'Blue Land Forces' against the great evil kingdom of 'Red Land Forces'! Soon they completed their training,and were sent to all parts of their country to meet together in virtual world in their older days. They are past their prime but still have the josh, the zeal and their hearts still beat for others of their clan.

As it is said and believed - no bonding is stronger then the bonding between army course mates! The decades of separation do not weaken the strong force which pulls two course mates towards each other!

Hope that soon all those in Army and out of it will find time to send their bio-profiles and latest photos to be uploaded in this Blog. Let there be unions and re-unions in virtual world, for we have advanced Mates!
