The Daily Observer: 1st July 2020

😎THE DAILY OBSERVER-28:01 July 2020 / 03:43 😎

SAWAN(T) KA MAHINA...
PAWAN KARE SO-O-O-RE.......

Monsoon brought out the best in Sawant,as he along with his equally good lady partner on Smule, sang this melodious number to cheer up the afternoon session after a lazy morning.Earlier,Vidur started the proceedings with a post on "Zohnerism". No, it's not another type of harmonica but a way of twisting facts to fool the public--- something at which our politicians seem  to be experts. SBT presented a good old item number while Sawant posted a Gazal. Alfred posted an old pdf of a quote by Arthur Ashe which Pitamah felt should be gone through on a regular basis by all - " Why Me " ? Prabhat Jha made a valiant attempt to bring the intellectuals of the group to mother earth with a kiddie song or two. Suresh Dikshit thought it wss time to remember our martyrs with Lata's immortal number. Satish posted on suitable Indian replacements for the banned Chinese apps. S Murali on spiritual mode posted a video and described the glorious Varkari tradition of Maharashtra further elaborated upon by SBT, Vidur and Satish.
Saxy and Shiv posted some good laughs. Sanjay Mishra posted yet another video on the Chinese situation by Khan and Navnit gave it his stamp of approval - this Khan is a genius indeed. Watch all his videos and get to see the overall larger picture. Far better than wasting any time on our hundred-and-twelve inch chest thumper screaming the news of the Chinese apps ban as if Beijing itself had been conquered --pointed out in a post by Pitamah later at night. Sanjay Mishra also opined  on the misinfo being spread by some Hindi news channeis. These rabble-rousers seem to be itching for the next World war which all sane people are dreading.
Shiv introduced an enchanting gazal to occupy the waiting time for the 4 pm address. While Sawant and Shiv went gaga over it, Vidur rightly likened it to the Band Baja Baraat address of the CDS. Some discussion on it followed. Saxy had some telling comments to make on this issue and so had Sanjay Mishra. S Murali strangely stayed away but made an appearance later in the night asking Sanjay Mishra some pointed questions about the Gandhi family- as seems to be the order of the day whenever questions are raised on the present regime's actions. Bharat Bhushan and Ashok Chauhan posted the same video featuring Amrinder Singh - watch. Satish closed the day's proceedings with yet another video-joke.
So ended not only another day but half of 2020. Here's hoping for a better second half and a Happy Wednesday !

The Daily Observer: 30th June 2020

😎THE DAILY OBSERVER-27: 30 June 2020 / 03:04😎

Sometimes, a stray remark is all it takes to unleash the Superman in us leading on to globe-changing consequences. Sanjay Soi felt the same last evening, when his neighbor asked him," aur Soi sahab,ye Corona kab band karwa rahe ho?" He felt so good on hearing this that he shared it with the group and found an appreciative audience in Sirohi, Tekan, Navnit,S Mishra and Saxena.

Hitech Murali joined in with the news that he was preparing Cherry pickle.Trust a Thambi to come up with something like that while in England. Bet no Pahari ever even dreamt of that. Things warmed up and before one knew it Joe Dhillon broke the news that the GOI had banned Tik-tok and many other Chinese apps. So another feather in this group's cap. If you recall, a motion to this effect had been passed some time back after a heated debate with objections by Brother Gurvinder. We could also throw the Chinese out at once if only Murali would stop using his Veto power and agree that they a border intrusion has occurred. The way Nawnit is going steadily and surely towards that end, he is bound to succeed. It is said that sometimes when you constantly battle one enemy, you become like him. Navnit is like that -- a constant stream of announcements, documents, statements and supporting arguments about the Chinese intrusion. But Murali is also like that--- nothing doing till either Modi or Mukesh Ambani say so. Earlier in the day, Nirbhye likened this group to a bus driven by a nut. This  line of thought went on to describe this group as a bunch of nuts and bolts--more nuts than bolts, some of which have dropped along the way.Time to gather the dropped nuts and bolts and enjoy the ride. Saxy's joke on the Boss's secretary was much enjoyed by Somayya. Alfred's posts on a petition to the PM by ex-servicemen and an appeal by a General's wife to avoid war make interesting reading. But if you read through both of these and watch the video-post on Covid by Shiv (58 mins) - not only your whole day is gone but your head also ends up being pickled. There was much discussion on the Thapar family. Earlier in the day, Satbir and Saxy kept the goings -on lively with jokes and witty remarks. Rajbir came up with the telling observation that no regime is perfect, so any criticism on them should be taken in the right spirit. Naithani wrote about how we have to improve our own work culture before being able to compete with/overthrow Chinese goods. Vidur also added that everything should not be viewed from a political angle and hard facts should be acknowledged, no matter whose fault. PK Sharma's joke about the parrot in the freezer is worth going through. Pratap Ghosh posted a list of traffic signals with cameras installed---those in the capital city may note .In case you do not know about the Spanish Flu, dada has provided no less than 14 photos on it. Uttam Sarkar's joke about the sardar running away from the ticket checkers even though he had a ticket is hilarious.

Those who missed the last webinar on the leadership series can watch the video posted by SBT. Part -3 of the Old Monk saga was released by Arun in the wee hours, do read and get yourself updated on the subject. Sukhi posted a latenight joke for Adults only.Tips from psychologists to tackle the Covid situation posted by Satish is a must-read.I almost left out Pandit Tripathi's video-posts on the Chinese situation and Anil Ambani..Please do go through and let us all know if there are any new angles to this much discussed subject. There is also a video-post by Sanjay Mishra in which Kumar Vishwas questions Modi about acche din. Tip of the day: Just take out 10 mins and listen to Hitopadesh, posted at 17.22 hrs - pearls of practical wisdom as compared to bucket loads of  theoretical knowledge You will feel much more at peace with yourself and the world--guaranteed.

Enjoy your Tuesday.

The Daily Observer: 29th June 2020

😎THE DAILY OSERVER-26: 29 June 2020 / 04:35😎

It's Monday morning once more, rise and shine.Time to shrug off the hangover and begin a new day and week, afresh. Umar posted the story of the scientist Plank and his chauffer which is enough to make any reader to pause and think.Read it and find out for yourself if not already done so.When Pandit Tripathiji decides to make an appearance and post something, one has to notice and take a closer look. Why is this learned batchmate posting SBT's facebook video? Let the video run and you hear the screaming of a mob being brutalised by the police. Enquire like Tekan- "Kaun jagah ka pitai ba?" and pat comes the answer from SBT himself-"nucklow ka pitai ba." That seems to satisfy Tekan. But read the write-up by SBT and you realise that these are Congress protesters against the fuel price hike. Whatever- - brutality of that kind is sickening, whoever the victims. Next is a video questioning the real origin of the Kutab minar.Next is a useful video on Yoga for longetivity and active marital life. Next is a video on the origin of the earth - mixed bag,one must say. S Murali posted another thought-provoking video for the thinker types - what happens when u try to ride a  bicycle which turns right when you turn it left and vice versa. Dutch made - apparently they have not much else to do. Navnit continued with updates and media info on the Chinese standoff. Saxy posted a hindi poem on how none of his friends have grown old and followed up with jokes at intervals.Chandan spoke of Vivekanda's way of looking at idol worship and elaborated with an example .Satish posted a joke on Bras and Satbir posted a few of his own.Somayya posted Ratan Tata's statement that was already posted more than once and also refuted by Murali with proof.Wonder why someone would go to such trouble to concoct a fake message in Tata's name and on top of that Tata himself would go out of the way to refute it.Too much fake stuff doing the rounds, so be selective where you focus your attention. Pushpendra's post of Dhruv Rathee's tweet regarding Chinese funding to PM Cares fund drew sharp reactions from many knowledgeable quarters including Joe,Sawant,SBT,  Sanjay Mishra,Naithani and Murali. The long and short of is that there is Chinese funding all around us, like it or not. JP Singh posted his next video on PCS preparation.Shiv posted a video featuring Cat Steven's and his son.Vidur came freshly enlightened from the webinar and said Shiv's video-post conveyed the same message. Those who missed the webinar live can go through the video version and see for themselves.Ganesh Athley posted some interesting facts about English.Coversation wound around to the Chinese situation and electronic warfare, amongst other things.Nirbhye closed up with a rather longish sentimental post  on veterans. So ended another day in our WA group which is evolving fast.
Happy Monday and a wonderful week ahead.

😎THE DAILY OBSERVER-25: 28 June 2020 / 03:19😎

Today's Event :- Leadership series Webinar at 1800 hrs. courtesy SBT.

Navnit enrols in  college for a Law Course was the Breaking News on Saturday. We wish him success in this latest venture with the hope that it leads to PILs for the needy and not just extra-large sermons in WA University. Katoch mentioned some events like that during OTA days when Navnit sermonised generously with Amarjit in attendance. Look forward to someone from Kohima to shed some light on that. Just imagine----Alexander the great before beginning his latest campaign asks his O Group - any doubts ? And someone answers-- "Do you remember the time when you were two years old and could not stop wailing when someone took away your favorite rattler"? The great fellow's career might well have ended then and there. After two days of ensuring that chatter on this site proceeds along safer lanes, Satbir seems to have taken a day off.Nothing like a good laugh to start Sunday.Go straight to Nirbhye's message at around 0130 hrs (last one of the day) and see for yourself the meaning of a collection of more than one Kashmiri/Haryanvi, Tamilian/Mallu. Nripendra Singh Rathore aka Nippy started Saturday with a cartoon of a dog peeing on posts as he took a walk.

Ganesh Athley posted an English vocabulary wheel which can serve as a ready reckoner for those interested in English writing. Bharath Bhushan put on display the latest new improved version of his profile which attracted mixed comments ranging from leg pulling to commendations.Rajeshwar Sirohi chose to deliver his morning message at around 1015 hrs. Kadam's Nike dukan is good for a haircut. Sanjay Mishra's photo of Bhrama Kamal was immediately recognized by Ramu and we got to see the Himalayan version of this lovely flower too. S Murali broke his radio silence in the afternoon with a reply in Mandarin to Vidur's post. Possibility of quakes in China now? Vidur has not taken lightly the Nepalese change of maps and questions old man Oli's relationship with the enchanting Chinese envoy to Nepal. Satish posted an old classic Noor Jehan song appreciated by Shiv. And then Shiv broke into verse and song, what to talk of the locust attack in NCR. Shiv also threw in -"I just called to say I love you" for good measure. Luthra asked Rajbir some genuine doubts on religion and these were addressed very well by Rajbir later in the day. Naithani and Chandan Das added their enlightened views on theism and monotheism. Alfred logged in in the evening and remarked how difficult it is to go through so many messages in one go. You can imagine the plight of our overseas participants and of those who are busy professionally! Vish joined in for a moment and appreciated Bharat Bhushan's photo. SBT posted jokes and photos periodically till closure time. Pratap Ghosh spoke of a mysterious sound from another  galaxy - as if we do not have enough trouble deciphering sounds from our own galaxy. I scrolled down to the end of this rather long article and found  a Bengali lady's name - so that probably explains Ghoshda's sudden interest in such matters. Umar's post on "True Story of the Army" was well received and liked. Sawant posted a video at 23.29 hrs that reminded one of the name given to him by our room - ch**u. Katoch finally clarified that he had only been pulling Navnit's leg regarding moral lectures and wished him well in the legal profession. Navnit could at last peacefully go to sleep. SBT recalled Navnit's photo in flowing velvet gown distributing degrees to law graduates in Army Law School.

Alfred remembered Sam Manekshaw on his death anniversary by posting a video featuring the great man himself. SBT has done a great service by setting up a Course web-site single handedly and updating it from time to time.He has also uploaded all editions of the TDO. I am trying to do that from now on. But please visit the website and get your personal details updated. e.g. At a cursory glance, I think i saw Sen's name against Athley's photo. Just kidding, enjoy your Sunday.

The Daily Observer: 27th June 2020

😎THE DAILY OBSERVER-24: 27 June 2020 / 03:33 😎

Customary morning greetings began the day but the forward from Mohinder Pratap on Opinion was easily the message of the day.It conveyed in picture and word form that while it is kosher for one to hold an opinion, it is not so for an opinion to hold one. Do not let your opininions become your master, do not be judgmental. Shiv left after morning greetings and a prediction of a probable day of emotional outbursts and floods. Just picture the bus driver in his Fifti who takes out the DTC bus from the depot after wiping the windshield for the first trip of the day. That is Satbir. He has taken it upon himself to set the tone for the day with a greeting, some news and some jokes. Saxy was also very happy to see an item number as the day progressed. He kept posting jokes periodically. Politics and serious debate were studiously avoided. Sawant posted a message from the CDC of USA on how to be safe from Covid. Navnit contended himself by fwding pdfs of a couple of newspapers. Satish presented a neat summing-up of TDO. Luthra threw a political teaser, hoping to see a slugfest but  neither Mishra nor Murali took it on. Satbir proclaimed his maturity by posting an excellent video on the 18 signs of maturity and added that now he would be focusing on making others mature. Alan Clarke posted a useful video on how to keep the body parts healthy. The same had been posted earlier by Alfred. Rakesh Luthra stopped Sanjay Mishra in his tracks by replying - " you are right " in response to the latter's longish post on the Congress funding issue.

Rajbir posted a video on the importance and respect due to a father.A false alarm regarding RKM's birthday did not snowball for once, showing the alertness of readers and also that they are going through all posts. There was an interesting bit of info in Uttam Sarkar's post about an FIR lodged against some Sikhs for getting into the Babri structure and performing Ram-naam havan in 1856..This lead to some discussion on the tenets of Sikhism. Rajbir explained the concept of Akal Purakh. No explosion followed. So one comes to the conclusion that it is not religion or politics per se that is to blame. To blame are rigid followers who are not ready to see another's perspective - otherwise all roads lead to Rome. Hitech Murali posted about the Last Post. Chandan posted a new Bidi cure for Covid. Arun Parasar made everyone's mouth water with the photo of a mutton dish along with the caption- mutton with a twist. Further details on this twist are still awaited but Satbir says it is a lemon twist. A Bihari's mind is never far from his homeland.Freed from political issues, Sanjay Mishra posted a photo of the paddy fields of Bihar. Pitamah posted a video clip with a profound message on right treatment. Like an expert homeopath, he coats his pills with sugar and administers them in small doses. There are no side-effects, so do watch. Sanjay Soi lightened the atmosphere with his joke on ACRs. Andrews offered useful tips on what to do if you find your backside on fire. Navnit posted a useful video on the role of savings. Pratap Ghosh posted some thought provoking videos while Pushpendra  had something to say about some veterans getting sold out on TV. Alfred added a message on" A soldier's dignity"- must-read for all.

Ganesh Athley posted a funny video on how Kejri won the race.Talk turned to investments with Hitech Murali's post on the subject. Nice to see Raja Kadam's post on Iyengar beer.Talk of the Iyengar and there he was in person. Murali who had been retrograde the whole day,  made his presence felt with a whole series of posts on his pet subject of which he is a master--finance.He was joined by Shiv, Umar, Naithani, Chandan and Luthra in a lively discussion on investements which carried on till late. Meanwhile, it is learnt that Sanjay Mishra is looking for a tutor in that subject, preferably from Bihar. SBT, who  had been keeping a close watch over the day's proceedings submitted the LO hour report and all went to sleep a little later.

Have a great weekend.

THE DAILY OBSERVER-23

A quicky down memory lane........ heavenly rumbling sound of the wheelbarrow, steaming hot tea or cocoa with a light snack . Better than the most lavish spread in a fivestar buffet any day.

Baba Rajeshwar Sirohi it was who set the ball rolling with his morning greetings. Umar added a story with the moral: if you don't give 100% in a relationship, you will keep doubting. That goes for all we do in life, when we take up something we should give it our 100% . Hangover of the previous day's spat seemed to be prevailing and there were many quotes of wisdom through the day.Alfred was back in action but Murali continued to be in retro mode till late at night. Satbir seems to have taken Gyandev's message to heart and kept up a flurry of news and jokes. Pandit Tripathiji's tathya on some own people who seem to be made of stone was appreciated by Sirohi. Alfred's photo of Manekshaw and Indra Gandhi seated across a table in 1971 drew an immediate " Dear Indra " from Sirohi. Gurvinder also remarked that she was idolised in those times but bad things followed. How soon everyone forgets !

Naithani posted an article saying why the Congress won't pose a threat to Modi in the next polls which is interesting, coming from the mouth of Sanjay Jha. Navnit posted a forward regarding the importance of the four tri-junctions on the India-China border. Both Umar and Sawant posted a marriage video where the groom's pajamas kept slipping down for some reason. Suresh Dikshit posted on the definition of Time and Saxy a fwd on how media houses are being bought out by enemies. Shiv forwarded a poem by US Gill, which calls for some deep thinking to comprehend. Not the kind of stuff to unleash on an unsuspecting public looking for some lighthearted chatter. Don't know what made Shiv do that instead of his usual presentation of a song. Sanjay Mishra came up with a video on the PM's statement and at last there was someone to pick up the cue.Navnit put forth his views on how damaging those conflicting statements were. Before that, Shiv posted a video on Pranayama that is worth taking a look at.

A brief exchange between Navnit and Sanjay Mishra and Sawant switched the topic to the desperate search for a Covid remedy. AK Roychaudhri posted a very long fwd about how senior officers have let down the Army. With that, he felt he had completed the duty officer's task and went into hibernation - let's see for how long.More than half the day gone flitting from one topic to another. There followed what can only be described as Arty talk mainly between Shiv and Naithani regarding Milk round.Sawant mentioned Patanjali's Covid cure and Satish posted a Patanjali supporter's view of the Covonil controversy in flowery Hindi which is long but hilarious.KJS and Pitamah summed up the Arty talk.Chiwda times spoke of the sealing of the TDO premises and best wishes and advice followed.

To Taken Lalji, any think that is of a view not aligned to his own is a "chutiyappa ka video" .He followed up with a quote that was picked up and elaborated by Shiv.Dale Carnegie's book was mentioned but the gist of the quote was that there is no way you can win an argument with  a friend. you have to choose between winning the argument or losing the friend.Prabhat Jha posted a video re China and African safari. Murali came out of retrograde late in the night with a long post commenting on how mere reading of books cannot help. From what i can see, all hell broke loose after that. Only goes to prove the point that bookish learning is no substitute for wisdom. We all have to learn to practice what we preach.Blame it on the stars and planets - the misunderstandings.

Jeevan chalne ka naam, chalte raho subah-ho-sham....

Closing ceremony of 24 Jun was performed by Alfred at around 0016 hrs this morning, after having gone into radio silence early in the day. He actually wanted to continue silence for a full 24 hrs but could not hold himself back any longer. He let pour his feelings and there was Ramu, all ears and ready with the healing touch. S Murali also made an appearance after hours of similar radio silence. Hitech Murali arrived with pearls of wisdom on how a wise man makes good use of torn pockets instead of whining about it.

SBT wished Good Morning and Vidur joined in. Andrews managed to tuck all into bed at around 0130 hrs. So ended the 24th and began 25th. It was nice to see Nawnit and Mohinder gracing this site with their valuable inputs along with Sanjay Soi. Here's hoping they are seen and heard more often. There is now no doubt that we are all going through difficult times, one way or the other. If somebody like Satbir can get worked up, anyone can! His outburst early yesterday on the subject of political arguments holding sway on this site found support and his reaction became a little personal. Without going into details of the forgettable virtual scrap that ensued, the broad consensus was that there should be no gag order or limitation in this free space. But, as Alfred pointed out in his midnight sermon, there was an unusual silence that followed this discussion. Nippy was seen after quite some time and posted a humorous video on the looks of the Mandela statue put up in the US. This came after Shuboday- a news bulletin posted by Satbir. Sukhi posted a video and a joke. Suresh Dikshit updated on the latest antics of Grumpy. SBT stated that he was confused by the statements of the RM, VM and PM. Vidur noted that this was an important declaration worthy of discussion based on facts rather than individual biases.

S Murali and Sanjay Mishra seemed to be settling in for continuing the previous days arguments when Satbir made his impassioned plea for stopping it. A heated exchange which many along with Alfred tried to cool down without success followed. A display of luscious mangoes with the caption - "keep smiling" by SBT went unnoticed. So did an excellent one on Parsi humour in the Parliament by Alfred. Satbir also posted some good ones but the atmosphere was already sullied. Only way forward is to put all that down to Retrograde Mercury and move on.Time heals all.

Gyandev Maharaj has pointed out that it is up to each one of us to set the tone and tunev of messages on this site. If you want a change, be the change. Our Sant Namdev Poonavale also concurred. Brother Gurvinder has a simple formula- if u do not like a post, delete it. Joe Dhillon wondered if the rise in temperature in the Himalayas had an effect on group bonding. Nirbhye opined that he was not fond of seeing arguments all the time while Vish said he enjoyed seeing the fireworks as much as eye-candy. Shiv said it with songs and SBT also contributed a harmomica recital video. Mohinder Pratap dwelt long on the poser by Sanjay Mishra regarding refugees in Gujarat. This was well received and commended by Nirbhye,Navnit, Satish, Soi and Shiv among others. Gurvi reminded all that we were the same guys who had fought over chai and matthi and should continue in the same spirit. Katoch agreed. Chandan and Pushpender posted the same video by Khan, who seems the 'in thing' these days - a must-watch, this guy is too good! Nawnit posted a video on Noor from Iran. Tekan posted comments on posts that had taken his fancy. Shiv won an award for his singing performance - hearty congrats to him. Saxy posted plenty of jokes. Joe posted on the lowering popularity of a career in the Army and reasons thereof. And so the night went on till Alfred appeared at midnight!

Have a pleasant Thursday, all and  happy messaging

The Chiwda Times: 25th June 2020

😎THE OBSERVER (M-7): 25 June 2020 / 12:38😎

CHIWDA TIMES - COVID

Yes, you got it right - Covid. For twenty-two days the topic was deliberately given a miss in these columns. Enough about it is going around 24x7 on TV, print, social and other media. From the time it first made its appearance in China, one could sense the dreaded infection  steadily getting nearer and nearer. Initially, everyone made fun of the Chinese, then the Italians, Spaniards, Americans, Britishers and so forth. There were jokes galore about the eating habits of the Chinese, particularly the bat recipes. Then came the national lock-down and the creepy, thorny, horrible, scary Covid symbol made its appearance all over. There was no escaping it - hoardings, stickers, newspapers and all kinds of TV channels were full of it. A constant reminder of the lurking danger!

Now started the almost minute by minute updates on the latest numbers of active cases, fatalities, recoveries and so forth. After watching with a kind of detached ,distant amusement how the figures were rising in one state and city after the other, came the realization that Tamil Nadu and Chennai were now among the leaders on that chart . I could not but help muse that by sheer law of averages, it was sure to arrive at our doorstep soon. To cut a long story short, it has. Well, not exactly - but when the next door neighbor in our first-floor home has been found to be positive two days ago, I think I can safely claim to be the first in this group of ours who has this privilege. Yesterday morning , our whole block was segregated and sanitized and lifts sealed. We are in quarantine - home delivery of all essentials, no moving out. Just now, my wife announced that a survey team from the local Panchayat office will be coming to check our temperature etc. Personally speaking, I have so far considered myself to be relatively safe as I have not stepped out of the door since my last visit to the  doctor more than six months ago. No visitors, and my wife has been taking all precautions with bare minimum movement outside the house. And now we await this team conducting a door-to-door survey of the entire gated society containing blocks A to R.

At times I have the feeling that it is these very "highly trained" surveyors who ensure full and proper spread of the virus. Looking for protective equipment to tackle this encounter. Unfortunately I got rid of my FSMO some time back. God save us! As Murali said a day or two ago, let this be placed on record for posterity .

The Daily Observer: 24th June 2020

😎THE DAILY OBSERVER-21😎

24 June 2020 / 03:56

This publication has had a dream run so far,it completes three weeks today. When the dream is pleasant, who wants to wake up ? Let it carry on,is the feeling. What wonders the record of a pleasant memory can do. Sanjay Soi posted a photograph of his visit to Hyderabad some time ago. Murali remarked that Sanjay Soi was a jolly good fellow and so was Vidur Nevrekar. Before he knew it, Sanjay Mishra found himself replying that he agreed , albeit reluctantly , because his exact words were - " no one will disagree to that ". And so history was made. There were smiles all around and as per Murali's wish, the occasion is being recorded for posterity in these columns. Jagdish Sawant, thought the moment was right to kick off a lively debate on nepotism in Indian politics with a pointed question.Joe Dhillon whacked this bouncer for a six with his reply that the reply lay in the question itself - Sawant had started the question with the statement - nepotism has existed in our country since the beginning of society. A further question on the same was put to rest by Joe with the rustic wisdom - Jiski lathi uski bhains. That's Joe for you - one moment deep philosophy and the next moment rustic age-old wisdom.

Questions which are razing all around cannot be kept out of this forum and no gag order can work. This country prided itself on freedom and all are free to express their views and feelings. The other major issue of the present - the question of some veterans having political leanings and ambitions was also debated upon in detail by Murali, Umar,Sanjay Mishra, Vidur, AKR Chaudhri, Shiv, Naithani and Chandan Das in the evening. It was initiated by Murali's long post on "Selling of National Interests " and that debate seems to be continuing as i write. Maybe an extra edition of TDO will be required to cover everything. PK Sharma threw in a couple of jokes to lighten the atmosphere. The one on how ice-cream is ordered in Haryanvi accent is hilarious. Alfred posted a video on the subject of appearance of veterans on TV and asked the question - what do you think of this, but those immersed in the debate paid little or no heed. They were not distracted.

Satish Pande slid in a  joke. Pratap Ghosh reminded all of Shakuntala Devi, Vish tried another joke, but the main show kept gathering momentum without a break. Navnit gave his viewpoint whenever he got the opportunity. Umar and Luthra did their bit, supporting people they had served under. Vish added his two bits. Saxy piped in now and then and once Andrews heaved a premature sigh of relief mistakenly thinking it was all over. Alfred kept trying and so did Satish Pande. Hitech Murali tried to distract with a short video-film. But,as we have all come to learn, once Murali is in that mood, there is no stopping him. He is up in arms against a large section of respected and other veterans. Arnab Goswami and Gaurav Arya could pick some tips from him.

Before I forget, a video posted in the afternoon by Alfred, showing a guy imitating some famous Indian cricketers and their on-field mannerisms is really hilarious. Vidur's puzzle regarding the missing tattoo remained unanswered. Murali would do well to go through both. Watch and relax. The next c edition follows soon.

Have a cool Wednesday. Offering form SSP...Cool song with cool dude...

😎THE OBSERVER (M-6): CHIWDA TIMES--BOOZE 😎

23 June 2020 / 14:04

The first-born of Tamilian parents in Shimla, I was probably given my first teaspoon of brandy during the first snowfall when I was 3 months old. What I do remember clearly is that as a toddler, whenever I got back indoors after playing in the snow, my father would make me have 'eggnog' with a spot of brandy. I loved the warm sensation as it went down the throat. As I grew older, I would sometimes be given a tot of rum during parties. Also a glass of beer during picnics. Once I started travelling for badminton tournaments, senior players would give me a peg or two. It was only when i joined the hostel at DAV College, Chandigarh, that I had a full bottle of beer to myself. In college at Delhi, we would have a bottle of beer now and then and pretend to be very drunk. Jhang at the Tibetan Monastery was much cheaper. When a friend passed through Delhi on his way home to Port Blair by train after passing out of IMA, I was very much impressed by the sight of him and his batch-mates in uniform at the station. That was when I first began to think of a career in the Armed Forces seriously. Later, he joined his unit in Leh and said he would be passing through Delhi on his way home.I requested him by inland letter to get me "some" booze. When I went to meet him at the station, he handed over a crate of rum to me. I simply could not believe my eyes, I had expected a bottle or two at the most. I  pleaded with him to accept payment, but he replied that the cost was negligible - only three rupees a bottle! Then and there, I decided that the Army was the place for me.

Stashing away three bottles in the hostel room of a non-drinking friend, I handed over the rest to my dad. On New Year's eve, I was walking up and down the Delhi Univ roads, with one bottle on each side of my overcoat, offering a swig to one and all.The third bottle, I kept reserved for celebrating after the CDSE results. I had already appeared and cleared both written and SSB. When the result was announced, I went to my friend's room to collect the bottle kept in reserve for the purpose. He hesitantly replied that he had finished it all gradually over the days, starting with a teaspoon to taste. I did not talk to him for many days after that. Meanwhile I appeared in the ten papers I had accumulated over my three years stint in college doing BSc. Gen. The day of the results, I phoned a friend to check out. He checked and bluntly broke the news to me - I had failed in all ten papers. There was shock all around.

I sat again for CDSE and cleared the written and SSB, this time in Dehradun for the Air force. I cleared the medical also and stood high in the order of merit. Now I failed in one paper by two marks. Since I had been part of the Delhi Univ team that won the All India Inter Univ badminton championship in my final year, I went personally to request the VC. He told me to apply for re-evaluation and on doing so I got the reply that that there was no mistake in totaling. I was told later by well-wishers that I should have sorted matters out at a much lower level. I had no choice but to appear once more in CDSE, clear SSB and await results. There was a strike in the University and results were not declared in time for me to join IMA. With the kind help of a Cabinet minister of the time, I managed somehow to get my result conveyed directly to Army HQ at the last minute for joining OTA. I took immense pleasure in burning all my science books thinking I would never go anywhere near those subjects again. I reported to OTA after the course had already commenced, in a walking-wounded condition after a bike accident that followed a drinking session in IIT, Chennai.

So imagine my state when I was informed just  before passing out that I was to join the Corps of Engrs!

The Daily Observer: 22nd June 2020

😎THE DAILY OBSERVER-19😎

22 June 2020 / 04:32

Having gone through three-fourths of a lifetime ( being optimistic ) of Monday mornings,it seems impossible to get used to the idea that now it is just another day. It is still very important to start the week on the right note after a weekend of rest and revelry. So we begin with the rechristening of Raman by Oscar le Sequera as conveyed by Pitamah. Behold Shri Shri 108 Shri Yogacharya Jagadguru Shankaracharya VC Ramanji Paonta Sahib vale. Swamiji emerged on Yoga day from his Himalayan retreat in his new Avatar to present a demo yoga video which all must watch. Amazing agility and flexibility are the words that spring to the mind. Here's hoping he will continue to shower blessings on this site by appearing regularly.

Sunday was a relaxed day but still kicked off early with Vidur replying to Bharat Bhushan's message on the Galwan clash. Sanjay Soi posted the official statement of the PMO after the all-party meet on Saturday. This was followed by a post from Vish saying how the credit for beauty at 60 goes to one's soul. Rajdip seems to be focused on the subject of arguments. His joke on the argument between a tiger and a donkey on the colour of grass was well received. Nirbhye honored the same with 21 tope salami. Sirohi was up early and set the tone for the day with his message on Yoga day. Alfred and Murali seemed to have taken very seriously the remarks of Shiv about the Mercury retrograde and observed silence for the better part of the day.

Nirbhye kept the site humming with his uplifting posts. Sawant asked the billion dollar question about what the NSA was up to at the moment. C Arty had some caustic remarks on that and came with a post on a very interesting perspective on the Galwan issue from a Pakistani General. This is surprisingly yet to see a response. Umar, for a change shed his techie Director's garb and revealed the lesser known French connection to his character. He posted a real teaser of a video- the towel dance. It is said that Kuldeep Brar and some others are still re-running the video and looking at it from different angles in the hope of catching a glimpse of something! Saxy also kept posting eye-candy, showing he is fully recovered. Ramu made his usual afternoon appearance with a sharp remark.Shiv drew the attention of all towards the eclipse and its significance. There are a couple of videos on this subject on the site. Those inclined should watch both to get a general idea.Alfred got everyone guessing with a quiz on present-day cricketers. In the evening came the much awaited second episode of Old Monk from Arun Parasar. Arun has taken a lot of trouble to trace the lineage of Old Monk.He has also gone into a lot of detail about those responsible for its production and other members of the illustrious family.Shiv sang Chal Akela in his usual style. Rakesh Luthra seems to be warming up to the idea of writing, letting loose two long letters on the current situation and the benefits to martyrs' families. For some strange unfathomable reason , he also posted the photo of a pussycat.

Ajay Deb renamed Raman as Ramandev, responded severely to Luthra's post, posted some music videos and scooted before Alfred could catch him. JP Singh's video on PCS exams is worth watching. There is another very motivating video posted by both Sawant and Umar regarding a bedridden patient. In the chiwda session after the Old Monk, there was much remembrance of old bouts till late in the night, when Katoch recounted his bout with Gomes in detail. Pratap Ghosh had his own memories of having beaten everyone he faced in the ring "black and blue ". I do have my doubts about that, because it was no easy task to beat Madan Mohan black and blue. JC Sharma made Murali recall his knockout bout late at night.

And so ended another fun-filled day. Have a happy  Monday and a happy week, all of you!

The Daily Observer: 23rd June 2020

Geet gata chal, O  sathi gungunata chal!

A hearty welcome to AK Roy Chaudhri back into the fold.Just before midnight,PK Sharma cracked a couple of jokes, Shailendra posted an overview of the Galwan situation and Vish topped it off with an excellent one about raising cocks. Rajeshawar Sirohi was there, loving it all and cheering. This guy is now on the watch 24x7. Galwan occupied centre stage yesterday and the strategic as well as political implications were discussed in great detail.Seeing Shailendra's post, I felt I had seen it earlier and sure enough, found on checking that it had been posted by Vidur in the afternoon in a different format. Ever thought about why a hangover is termed so? Satish Pande came up with a brilliant explanation in the evening which rings true. Seems the origin is British and the term was used for the lowest form of accommodation provided to drunken sailors who had over-indulged i.e.a low rope over which they could hang for the night. Now where else but in this hallowed site would you find such all-important wisdom? The better part of my own service career has been spent nursing a hangover and desperately trying to get rid of it by gulping down buckets full of nimbu-pani.

Nirbhye clocked in early yesterday and remarked that he had met Pandian in Chail. For some strange reason, this caught Duggal's eye and he remarked on it instantly. Something in these columns seems to have given Duggal a wake-up call! Anyway, this rang a bell in Katoch's head and true Pahadi that he is, he dashed off a picturesque description of his beloved Chail that could easily fit in a brochure for Himachal tourism. When his heart is touched, this guy writes as well as he sings. His write-up on Chail took one right into Devbhumi Himachal. Alan Clarke expressed his feelings freely and said that though he did not post much, he was going through all the happenings in this site, which was encouraging indeed. I am sure there are many other such strong, silent admirers. Alfred posted a motivational video on falling and getting up. Vidur's appeal for someone to elaborate this theme surprisingly found no takers. I had half a mind to tell him that this question could best be answered by someone who had suffered a knockout punch while boxing. For strange reasons( maybe retrograde Mercury), Murali refused to pick up the offer. Alfred posted a video released by China's Global TV and remarked on its change of tone. At last our own China expert, Navnit jumped into the fray. He seems very perturbed about the situation and spared no effort in freely expressing his anguish. He posted a PDF file in support and also a long letter on the subject written by US Gill. Talking of that letter, as I was going thru it, I realized that the language sounded familiar and it was not Navnit's. I was reminded of NK Sharma's reaction long back in reading US Gill's work- "I get nervous when I read that kind of English" said he. By afternoon, Murali's retrograde seems to have taken a backseat and he expressed his views on the China sit and other subjects. A sharp observation came from the Enlightened One himself - traffic on this site has not only increased but also improved over time. Murali put it down to Mercury retrograde. Satish's post on Experience of  business management in China is an eye-opener.

Bharat Bhushan very proudly announced - "Look at these young motivated Lions. Abi dadi b puri fati nahi hai lekin jigra Babbar Sher hai. Let them loose on China or Pakis, these guys will tear them apart. Actually un ko tamboo main he mutwayen gay."

Sanjay Mishra took center stage and took on first Satish and then Shiv, Bharat Bhushan, Naithani and Saxy on matters political as well as astrological. The conversation is heated and informative covering a number of political personalities and nuances of astrology. Vish posted the PDF version of Bolton's book. Sanjay Soi posted the video of his live FB session which is a must watch. The in-house Voice of Kashmir, Bharat Bhushan has posted a video where a son of the soil makes a passionate declaration regarding the Galwan situation. This was followed immediately by a mysterious video posted by SBT. Pushpendra Yadav has posted a link which leads to my FB general page. Sukhi Chau posted a video on the future of bartending and KJS Sidhu appreciated Modi's kundali posted by Shiv. SBT's query regarding the exact length of the China-India border remained unanswered. Meanwhile I notice that Pandit Tripathiji has joined Shailendra in posting - The Gunner's shot posted earlier by Vidur. All in all, a day well spent. Gyaneshwar Maharaj was at his best - pointing out the drastic improvement in both the quantity and quality of posts on this site.He put it down to the fact that people and memories are more important than possessions.Point to ponder indeed.

Have a wonderful Tuesday.

Chiwda Times: 21st June 2020

Chiwda Times: Boxing

Never having boxed in life before landing up in OTA, I was quite apprehensive when the boxing classes started. The ustads taught us the basics and informed us that each one of us would have to box a full three rounds in the novices category. Before one knew it, a list of bouts was up on the notice board. Panicker, a lean cadet from Kerala was slated to box with me,as both of us weighed around the same. I was  wondering how to convey to him to take it kind of easy during the bout and not get over-enthusiastic, without sounding scared. He was in the next room and we crossed each others paths a number of times, glancing nervously at each other. Finally came the big day and just when i gathered the gumption to talk to him about the impending bout, he called me over to a quiet corner for a chat.i readily agreed. He went to quite some length to explain to me that there was no point hurting each other during the bout in over enthusiasm.i was only too ready to comply. In the evening, we entered the red and blue corners in the ring to the accompaniment of blood-thirsty cries of the audience. The referee made us shake hands and gave the command to BOX. Both of us kept dancing on our toes, circling each other and throwing careful punches in the air.The audience screamed louder and louder and the referee kept stopping us and warning us to BOX. We carried on as before till the last round .By now, the referee had lost his cool and warned us both of serious consequences if we did not mend our ways. The crowd was also shrieking louder and louder. The third round began, and all of a sudden, Panicker landed a solid punch on my ear or there-abouts. For the first time in life, i reeled on my toes and saw stars floating around my head. The countdown began but I managed to get back to my feet at the last second. I could see Panicker grinning sheepishly, trying to convey that he was as surprised by the blow as i was. What with the crowd roaring on top of everything, i forgot all about our pact and started throwing punches around in earnest. Panicker replied in good measure till the bell went off.

Tired and bashed-up, we went to the center of the ring and let the referee announce the winner. I think i won on points. But the story does not end there.A couple of years after passing out of OTA, I happened to visit Panicker in his room in Delhi. On the wall was proudly displayed a pair of boxing gloves along with a tennis racket!

Then there was this other course-mate who was one of only two such cadets in that particular weight category. He was chosen to represent us in the inter-company boxing championship. Straightaway into the finals, he was up against our junior, Rock, a University champion of repute and as solid as the sound of his name. The bout was announced and the boxers shook hands and withdrew to their respective corners. As soon as the gong went off, Rock closed in and all one could hear and see was a flurry of punches.Within seconds, Jude's opponent was down for the count. At the end of the countdown, he was in no mood or shape to box further and was gingerly escorted out of the ring after completion of formalities. Of course, he got the runner-up prize in that weight category. Of course, he proudly displayed the prize in his room after passing out. And of course, as a result of his seniors observing the trophy in his room, he was appointed the manager of the renowned boxing  team of the establishment.

The Daily Observer: 21st June 2020

😎THE DAILY OBSERVER-18😎
03:00

Rajeshwar Sirohi flagged off yesterday with his Good Morning motivational greeting (his good morning messages are usually posted in the afternoon).Probably went back into his kambal because he was not to be seen after that. The morning proceeded gradually but activity on this site kept building up with a lot of conversation and a huge volume of posts.Borrowing from the words of our Resident Astrologer - Mercury is in retrograde and chances of communication being misread are higher than ever. While one does not wish to disappoint the early reader, at the same time one wants to ensure that the clientele should understand the circumstances. The safest thing to do seems to keep mum and have no newsletter at all. But that won't do, would it? In one column, this publication has to cover everything from the front page to page three to the middle page and right up to the last page. It's obvious  that everything said cannot be covered, so the editorial staff has to make quick decisions on what is to be printed. The rest of the details can always be gone through in the original post.

The needs of the discerning reader also have to be kept in mind. While Pitamah asks for a sumptuous breakfast, Alfred wants a quick snack with his morning tea and Vish wants a "Hajmola capsule" before going to bed. Probably, there are yet others who are looking for a Viagra before going out to do what they do in the world. Not an easy task to satisfy everyone at the same time, but the attempts are there and suggestions for improvement are welcome.

Sanjay Mishra posts a book review by a Rimcolian on a book written by another Rimcolian on some forgotten India-China encounters. Really? A Rimcolian recommending a book review by another Rimcolian on a book written by yet another Rimcolian. That itself is enough to put one off the entire exercise. Not that we hold any grudge against Rimcolians. They are the salt of the earth and know how to handle a little leg-pulling.This publication reserves the right to pull a leg or two whenever the opportunity arises. Sanjay Mishra added a lovely song sung by a young eighty-year old which should be a lesson to all of us. Then, we also have S. Murali, the one who knows it all. Just a mention a video and without going through it, he advice all not to see such things and mentions a lot of derogatory things about the makers of the video. Judging a book by its cover and making sweeping comments and shooting the messenger are not the hallmarks of wisdom and age.

When one Kang leaves, can another one be far behind? A video posted first by Naithani and later in the day by Ashok Chauhan was easily the pick of the day. In this video, Kulbir Singh Kang makes a fervent appeal to all the armchair experts to leave military matters to those on the ground. Rings a bell? Our own version of Kang had said the same. Ironically endorsed by none other than Murali himself! Satish Pande's review of the TDO is like a paper in itself, worth going through. This was followed by another long review of TDO by Murali in which he promotes the message of Kang and castigates the armchair experts, while exhorting everyone to stand united behind the Govt of the day in the present crises. For those interested, Sanjay Mishra has also posted the book earlier mentioned in pdf format. Rajbir Singh's post on how to learn not to be argumentative is a must read - he had himself called it "very relevant to SS33/24 " and it has been further endorsed by Chandan Das - extremely witty. Sanjay Saxena posted a criticism of service veterans lowering the image of the services in the media by their conduct and unwarranted comments. This was endorsed strongly by Murali. Saxy followed up with  a lesson from the Gita on "action without desire".

Satish re-posted a message from Shiv on how not to be judgmental about others and focus more on oneself. Do not miss Suresh Dikshit's photograph of Grumpy's expanded den . The powers that be should learn something about how to take proper care of migrants from Dikshit. RK Mishra came out with the revelation that Pawan Sheel is an excellent singer. Looking forward to a piece from Pawan soon. SBT made use of this opportunity to dish out some mangoes which Pawan found delicious Two videos posted by Chandan Das, one on our world and its contradictions and the other on Gratitude and blessings are worth watching. The article "Goofing Up " by Col Noel Ellis posted by Vidur is a must-read. Noel Ellis is a known straight-shooter and minces no words when he says there has been a goof-up. Though all ranks from all arms and services did justice to the uniform, there is absolutely no doubt that there has  been a royal goof-up. Read and find out details for yourself. Was not able to attend fully the live Facebook session by Sanjay Soi. It went on smoothly despite some initial audio hiccups. Could spot Farook and Murali among those attending, so hoping one of them will come up with the details. The panel was very impressive and one should watch the video which is sure to be posted on this site. Comments from some army personnel on the PM's speech posted by Vidur lead to the remark by Sanjay Mishra that Gen Prakash Menon should be tried for sedition. Suresh Katoch wrote a long message regarding freedom of speech and right to opinion and so forth, coming out in strong support of his regimental officer. Sanjay Mishra responded in good time and explained how his remark was in jest and not made against the General. This was immediately accepted. Shows how such disputes should be sorted out without giving time for misunderstanding to grow.

Bharat Bhushan's post regarding dubious funding of Univs in the US makes interesting reading. It was nice to see Joe Dhillon join the ongoing discussion on the stand-off issue remarking how the Sikhs of Arty and others had given an excellent account of themselves in the proceedings.Everyone agreed that all ranks and arms had indeed performed well. Talk drifted to the impending eclipse and Shiv explained its significance and possible impact. Shiv also kept up a steady feed of inspiring music throughout the day for keeping the morale up. Wishing all a Happy Sunday with the good news that the next episode of The Old Monk saga is on its way soon, as promised by Arun.

Hollow Top Hats!

There is something wrong in grooming the army officers!

Even while the past AG very famously and stupidly stated on last day of his service that ex-servicemen need to have some discipline code, he said good thing very stupidly! Was he wrong?

I have interacted with many IAS and IPS officers and I know that they are very conscious of their public image. They are also very conscious and strict about seniority and rank (much more than army) and never permit anyone to encroach upon such issues.

I am yet to see even the most disgruntled IAS or IPS officer to criticize anyone who is in service or who was in service, howsoever ill famed that person might be. Never ever you will see an IAS or IPS officer criticizing their brother officers in public domain.

Crow doesn't eat crows meet!

But it is only Army officers who keep their trap shut while in army (in service) and posing as if this is part of their good discipline and self restraint. And in the garb of good discipline they accept bad orders. They take all the shit from their seniors and very dutifully pass these traits on to their juniors. And they believe they are setting very high standards and ethics.

The moment they are out of service they suffer verbal diarrhoea and at a drop of their tirchi topi or the hat which have a step to keep their mouth shut while in service and when this strap is now loosened, they go yappaty yap!

The jokers do not realise that same stupid work culture and personal examples they left their juniors to emulate and now criticize them for same things which day did in their so-called glorious career.

जहां पर बोलना हो,
वहां ये चुप रहते हैं,
और जहां चुप रहना हो,
वहां ये बोल जाते हैं!

They never had spunks in their balls and in service they listened to their political boses and they were scared to offer their professional views. Same clowns now can't even contradict the anchor and always try to take his side even when that anchor is still wet behind the ears and do not know even the T of tactics and S of strategy!

Time and again it appears that every army officer suffer an imaginary obligation that he must offer his views which must sound very profound and the most correct solution and that's why you will find a grounded pilot, an ordinance officer and naval officer from admin wing to comment about the strategies which he wants Army Chief must follow!

How hollow??

😎THE DAILY OBSERVER - 17😎

Nothing like an elevating song to start the day.The Daily Observer is consistent in its policy of helping the readers start of their day on a "neele gagan ke tale " note. But then, what if the sky seems to be overcast with dark clouds. That is when the right kind of music, helps one focus on the silver lining.

Cheema and Kang chose to leave the group yesterday. As Nirbhye says, it should be our endeavor to get not only them, but all other batchmates back into the fold.

Yesterday was an eventful one on this site, full of action. After the early morning banter about the latest edition of the TDO, the day began in earnest with Sanjay Mishra remarking that Nirbhye would face flak for his comments on the "Mahaballipuram to Galwan" video. But nothing like that happened. We actually had Murali cautioning everyone to exercise restraint while commenting. The Sino-Indian standoff continued to hold sway. Bhupi posted a video on Col Babu, who has now become a well revered household name. For those who want a quick upgrade and backround info on the subject, there are videos posted by Nirbhye and Ganesh Athley which serve as a good guide. The same had also been posted earlier by others incl VK Duggal but point is, they do their job.

Excellent humor posted by Naithani in the form of "Company Rollcall. Our resident astrologer, Pandit Shivshankar pronounced the significance of the eclipse due tomorrow and Mercury in retrograde. Prophetic words they proved to be - we saw two members leave, probably due to wrong interpretation of some messages. Murali never ceases to surprise with his encyclopedic knowledge- from Mercury in retrograde to Amrita Shergill- our man always has the last word. Is there anything he does not know about? Talking of Amrita, there is a real treasure of wisdom to be found in her last will and testament, posted by Shiv Shankar. Brother Gurvi, for once found veg food for the veg, when he went through the video the editor had marked for his remarks. His reply in the form of a letter to the editor is worth going through, i wonder how many read it. He mentions that the Adjt's ragda was unable to straighten the dog's tail but only resulted in his own (Adjt's) hand being cast in plaster.

Never saw our learned counsel of Supreme Court fame give such an elaborate and witty statement. Sawant burst into song with his enchanting Smule partner.Shiv threw in a song for good measure. Katoch belted out another sentimental oldie in exemplary fashion, pining for his Chambe-wali .Not to be left far behind and feeling inspired by all this, Arun Parasar came up with the first of his new serial - The Old Monk Tales. It is a must read. Shiv Shankar's - "kahin door jab din dhal jaye......" evoked a strange response- "TANDOORI" from RK Mishra.Any other singer would have given up singing for life at such a remark. But our positive wellness Guru managed to undo the auto-correct devil and decipher the real message for - Tansen. See what I mean? Any other fellow would have left in a huff. We should check our attitude and observe without tinted glasses or muffled ears.

SBT was so moved by the departures from the group that he expressed himself in poetry form which even Alfred appreciated after using Google to translate.

Alfred posted a very meaningful spiritual message in his post regarding "the visiting pastor" - must read.Interesting video by JP Singh on how to crack the Civil Services Exam, hope to see him more often here. Sawant's - ye nayan dare dare was much appreciated and Luthra broke into shayari mode. Ajay Deb contributed with -Fantastic 1,2 .......... 8 to show his appreciation. Sanjay Soi posted re Fake News.Vish dwelt on the subject of people leaving the group and Nirbhye added conciliatory notes.

Wishing  everyone a happy Saturday with the song - Chhodo kal ki batein, kal ki baat purani.......ham hindustani.....
