Chandan Das has become the first amongst us to be struck by Covid. The last time Pratap Ghosh said the name, it first sounded as if he and his wife had got afflicted.It took some time for all to understand that the message was just a forward. But yesterday it was for real. We all wish Chandan a speedy recovery and hope to hear some good news along those lines soon.Bharat Bhushan came out in strong defence of Gen Bakshi and still believes the video-clipping of him on Republic TV is morphed. Some are inclined to disagree but Rajbir's opinion is that MC is just another commonly used word in Punjabi culture and it is not to be taken literally or seriously. SBT is glad that the word was used on a deserving candidate . One very noticeable factor in all such exchanges involving senior veterans is the deep loyalty shown by those who have interacted personally with these seniors or have some other affiliation. SBT's one regret is that he is still unable to identify the deserving gentleman on whom those words were directed. Luthra came out in support of Gen Bakshi irrespective of whether the video was morphed or not. Sukhi posted a short video featuring cute dogs. Sanjay Soi posted a u-tube video of his interaction with VandanaVijay,CEO. Navnit posted a long forward of an Army offrs post that he liked. It was responded to by Satish after he himself posted a long fwd on Rohingyas.Murali also responded to Navnit's post in detail.
Navnit posted the same long message on Rohingyas as Satish. Satish posted an article from the Guardian. AK Roy Chaudri posted a video on Armoured vehs, Naithani on Priyanka and Tekan Lal his comments. All this was probably too much for Saxi. He first posted a lesson from the Gita and finally made a fervent appeal to avoid longwinded posts and stick to short interactions Alfie remarked that he had read everything. Getting back to the proceedings, Nirbhye posted one on why men are kind and women very selfish. Bharat Bhushan closed the proceedings with the proposal that Alfred should be sent for a spot check of MH Leh because he raised doubts on the same.
